Match Charter Public School is a free, high‑performing charter public school in Boston, serving a diverse community of up to 1,250 students. Our mission is to prepare students—particularly multilingual learners and first‑generation college students—for success in college and careers, fostering economic security and mobility.

We are hiring a Science Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year at Match Middle School, located at 215 Forest Hills St., Jamaica Plain, MA. The position is full‑time, starting August 12, 2026.

The salary range for teachers new to Match is $61,812 to $98,899 per year, based on prior years of full‑time teaching experience. Benefits include 90% coverage of employee health‑insurance costs and up to $150 per month in loan‑repayment assistance.

Applicants must have current U.S. work authorization.

• Teach up to four middle school Science classes.
• Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students and provide substantial support for student success.
• Participate actively in Match’s coaching and professional development programming.
• Assist with school programming as needed during non‑instructional time.
• Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community.

• At least two years of full‑time classroom or special education teaching experience, preferably in an urban setting.
• Meet teacher certification requirements set by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, or be able to meet them within one year of hire.
• Strong belief that all students can and will succeed.
• Desire to continually improve teaching practice through feedback and implementation of new strategies.
• Proven record of student success and achievement.
• Ability to work well on a team and support others in doing their best work.
