Overview
Berklee College of Music’s Cultural Arts Education Administration Internship offers paid, hands‑on learning in areas such as operations, marketing, communications, community arts project management, production, research, and fundraising, across departments including Library, Communications and Marketing, and Education Outreach and Social Entrepreneurship. Interns will apply creativity and critical thinking skills, and build adaptability, accountability, initiative, self‑direction, and cross‑cultural interaction.
Responsibilities- Perform day‑to‑day administrative tasks related to the operation and promotion of Berklee programs.
- Create social media content and assist with marketing communications.
- Assist in the operations of special productions and events.
- Provide support to prospective students and families.
- Help manage and support special research projects.
- Boston resident aged 14‑18.
- Currently enrolled in high school, post‑secondary education, or a GED/HiSET/Alternative Education program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Computer literacy (MacOS, Microsoft Suite, spreadsheet management).
- Strong initiative and team‑working ability; respectful, responsible, and punctual.
In‑person internship at Berklee’s campus in Back Bay, Boston.
Working hours:
10am–3pm, Monday–Thursday, 16hours per week (1hour unpaid lunch each day). Some evening and weekend support may be required.
Hourly pay of $15.00, with the unpaid lunch hour included in the schedule.
