Part-Time Lecturer – Analytics

About the Opportunity

Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies invites applicants for a part‑time faculty position to teach in the Master or Professional Studies Analytics program, located on‑ground in Boston, MA.

Context:
The College of Professional Studies is one of ten colleges at Northeastern University, offering lifelong experiential learning in over 90 programs.

• Instruction in analytics, with expertise in probability and statistics, data exploration, data visualization, and predictive analytics.
• Develop and deliver courses that prepare working professionals for entry‑ and mid‑level analytics roles such as data analyst, data specialist, database analyst, program analyst, research analyst, or research associate.
• Apply experiential learning methods that link coursework to professional applications in the workforce.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff on curriculum development and assessment.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to graduate‑level students, promoting inclusive learning environments.

• Minimum qualification:
  
  Master’s degree in an aligned discipline and analytics‑industry experience.
• Preference for candidates holding a Ph.D. in a science field or similar.
• Demonstrated teaching, coaching, or training experience at the graduate level, both online and on‑ground, preferred.
• Strong academic record and history of successful teaching.
• Proven commitment to fostering inclusive environments for all faculty, staff, and students.
