Overview
The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and its nine tenure units are the home of the Experiential Liberal Arts. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around the globe.
ResponsibilitiesThe American Sign Language Program seeks candidates to teach undergraduate courses such as ASL, deaf culture, history, or literature and linguistics courses. Positions are available throughout the year contingent upon enrollment and departmental need.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.
- Fluency in American Sign Languages required.
- ASLTA or RID-certified strongly preferred.
- Three to five years of teaching experience in ASL, or interpreting strongly preferred.
- Cross-cultural understanding and excellent communication skills required.
