Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with emotional, behavioral, and social challenges across PK-5. Responsibilities include conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, training staff, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders to improve student success.

• Use data-based processes to understand why students are not meeting behavioral expectations, and apply evidence-based interventions to address a range of student needs.
• Support and increase the capacity of school-based personnel and teams to meet the social‑emotional and behavioral needs of struggling students.

• Master’s Degree in special education, school psychology, school counseling, or school social work.
• Massachusetts licensure as a special education teacher, social worker, school counselor, or school psychologist.
• Certified BCBA.
• 3 years of experience working or consulting in a public school setting.
• Valid crisis intervention / restraint certification approved by the district.
• Working knowledge of special education regulations and the IEP process.
• Experience conducting FBAs, writing BIPs, and preparing reports.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Supervision experience.

• Must have and be able to use a personal vehicle to travel between schools.
• Must be able to ambulate within school buildings and yards.
• Must be able to move between varied seating and furniture from Pre‑K to High School.

• Manage research‑based behavior interventions for students with and without disabilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and support staff to implement interventions with fidelity and analyze data.
• Utilize data management software to create systems and provide clear verbal, written, and graphic data summaries.
• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including students, staff, and parents.
• Maintain required credentials.
• Train staff in crisis management and response practices.
• Provide training to administrators and general and special education staff.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans.
• Attend team meetings and provide consultation to parents as needed.
• Support PBIS, social‑emotional competencies, behavior management, intervention, and prevention best practices.
• Prepare and implement professional development for staff.
• Provide ongoing consultation to school‑based teams.
• Meet regularly with district special education administration.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director(s) of Special Education.
