Fisher College, a private four-year institution located in the Back Bay area of Boston, is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach one section of Physics for the Life Sciences:
Mechanics including a lab for the Fall 2026 semester. The course will run from August 31, 2026, through December 18, 2026. Instruction will be conducted in person during daytime hours. Class times are Mondays and Fridays, 12:45 pm to 2:00 pm, and the lab will be taught on Fridays 2:15 pm to 4:00 pm. Additional time commitments include training, course preparation, grading, and student communications.

- Design and deliver instructional activities that align with and support course outcomes.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through class participation, assignments, papers, and exams.
- Maintain and submit student attendance records, grades, and other required documentation by specified deadlines.
- Teach in-person.
- A minimum of a Master's degree in Physics or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in teaching college-level Science is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with Web Assign is desirable.
- Experience with Canvas is preferred.
