Art & Design Teacher – Secondary School

Location: Boston
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Part-time (3 Days per Week) | Long-term

GSL Education is seeking a creative and passionate Art & Design Teacher to join a secondary school in Boston from September 2026
. This is an exciting part-time opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students through creativity, innovation, and artistic expression.

Working three days per week, the successful candidate will deliver engaging Art & Design lessons and support students in developing their practical, creative, and analytical skills across the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Encourage creativity and self-expression through a range of artistic techniques and media
• Support students in developing practical and theoretical knowledge of Art & Design
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Prepare students for coursework and examinations where appropriate
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Art & Design in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• A passion for creative education and student achievement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
