Part-Time Lecturer - MPS Insurance, Analytics and Management

Looking for a qualified candidate who would teach on‑ground, hybrid, and online graduate‑level courses in Insurance, Analytics and Management. This position is located at the Northeastern University Boston Campus.

Instructional areas include, but are not limited to, analytics/AI (e.g., probability and statistics, data exploration, data visualization, predictive analytics, ML), and insurance‑specific topics like underwriting, claim management, finance, reinsurance, etc. The Master of Professional Studies in Insurance, Analytics and Management is designed to prepare professionals working in the insurance industry and related fields for success as insurance professionals at the intersection of technology, application, digital leadership, and decision support.

The degree guides students toward entry‑ and mid‑level roles such as Claims Management, Insurance Finance, Underwriting, Product Pricing and Distribution, Technology and Analysis, and International Insurance, with a strong emphasis on experiential learning linked to professional applications in the workforce.

Minimum qualification:

Master’s degree in an aligned discipline and/or analytics‑industry experience. Preference for candidates with a Ph.D. in a scientific field or similar. Demonstration of teaching, coaching, and/or training is required, with a history of successful graduate‑level teaching (online or on‑ground) strongly preferred.
