Boston University (BU) is an international, comprehensive, private research university committed to educating students to be reflective, resourceful individuals ready to live, adapt, and lead in an interconnected world. In its undergraduate schools and colleges, students gain depth of knowledge in their chosen majors and breadth of skills through the BU Hub general education curriculum. BU is launching a significant expansion of undergraduate advising by increasing the number of professional academic advisors, each working with a caseload of approximately 200 students in one of its colleges or schools.
Our advisors engage in holistic academic advising that supports exploration and helps students realize academic, career, and life goals.
Colleges with open advisor positions include the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Engineering, the School of Hospitality Administration, Questrom School of Business, and Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.
Advisors in the College of Arts & Sciences, Computer Science will provide comprehensive support to students, ensuring they meet academic requirements, maintain progress toward degree completion, and develop plans aligned with their personal and professional aspirations.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of experience required.
