Center Director
Boston, MA
Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Center Director to join the leadership team at their premier preschool. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), a genuine love for children, and a strong commitment to education.
Key Details- Direct Hire position with the school
- Monday‑Friday; year‑round employment
- $82,000 – $85,000/year pending education, certifications, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
- Bonus incentive based on specified metrics

- Oversee all operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, special events and activities, managing budget/finances, relationship building, quality assurance related to health & safety, and faculty onboarding, training & development

- Comply with state childcare licensing regulations
- Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment

- REQUIRED
Education:
A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education or related field - REQUIRED Certification: Massachusetts Director's certification
- REQUIRED Leadership
Experience:
At least 2‑years of continuous experience as a Director or Assistant Director in an EEC licensed childcare center/preschool with at least 20 staff members and at least 75 enrolled students - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
