Assistant Professor – Tenure Track
Position within the Program in Cellular and Molecular Medicine (PCMM) at Boston Children’s Hospital, in partnership with the Department of Immunology at the Blavatnik Institute of Harvard Medical School, in the rank of Assistant Professor. The primary appointment will be in the Department of Immunology, with employment and resources provided by Boston Children’s Hospital through PCMM.
Program OverviewPCMM and the Department of Immunology offer a vibrant research community with extensive opportunities for collaboration within the broader Longwood Medical Area scientific community. Responsibilities- Lead an independent research program located in PCMM, in close proximity to the Department of Immunology.
- Participate in shared teaching missions.
- Collaborate with faculty across PCMM and the Department of Immunology.
- PhD and/or MD or equivalent degree.
- Record of outstanding research productivity.
- Demonstrated potential, clear vision, and commitment to addressing important problems broadly related to immunology.
- Research expertise and interests that complement the wide‑range scientific efforts of the faculty in PCMM and the Department of Immunology.
Highly competitive start‑up package and access to cutting‑edge facilities. The posted pay range of $152,000‑$175,000 is the Boston Children’s reasonable and good‑faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Base pay is part of a comprehensive benefits package.
