Special Education Teacher
Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Boston, Massachusetts. Responsible for supporting students with special needs in a classroom setting, collaborating with staff, and ensuring student progress. Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in education.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students.
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance.
- Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching special education.
- Standard education requirements.
- Standard certifications requirements.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with staff and support students effectively.
