Job Description
Match Charter Public School is a free, high‑performing charter public school in Boston that serves up to 1,250 Pre‑K‑12 students. The school serves a diverse community—about 98 % students of color, 23 % qualifying for special education, and 19 % English Language Learners—and is committed to equity, freedom, teamwork, innovation and accountability.
We are currently hiring a High School Inclusion Aide for the 2026‑2027 school year at our Brighton campus (1001 Commonwealth Ave.). The role supports students with disabilities and assists with the implementation of individualized education plan goals during instructional and non‑instructional times, fostering inclusion and skill development.
Overview of Role and ResponsibilitiesThe inclusion aide is a full‑time staff member who works Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am‑4:30 pm. Core responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff to implement individualized student goals.
- Providing one‑on‑one or small‑group support during lessons, lunch, breaks and other non‑instructional periods.
- Developing deep relationships with students to ensure they receive the necessary academic and social‑emotional support.
- Modeling inclusive practices and contributing to an inclusive school culture.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating progress to the educational team.
- Annual salary: $52,499 (potentially higher based on experience).
- Health insurance: 90 % coverage of employee costs.
- Loan repayment assistance: up to $150 per month.
- Position is full‑time with a 7:30 am–4:30 pm schedule.
- At least two years of experience working with students with disabilities.
- Deep belief that all students can achieve and willingness to support them.
- Exceptional patience, commitment and ability to go the extra mile.
- Openness to receiving and applying feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and support colleagues.
- Citizenship, residency or eligible work visa required.
