Part‑Time Lecturer – Construction Management About the Opportunity
Part of the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University, this part‑time faculty position invites applicants to teach on‑campus and online graduate‑level courses in Construction Management.
Responsibilities- Teach graduate courses within the Construction Management concentration that is part of the Project Management degree and certificate programs. Courses include (but are not limited to):
Introduction to Construction Management, Alternative Project Delivery Methods, Safety, Project Risk & Quality Management, Construction Law, and other courses included in the curriculum.
- Master’s degree, professional certification (PMP, CCM, or similar credential), and 10+ years of industry experience at the construction/project manager level; responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle.
- Experience teaching online courses desirable.
- Experience working with international students a plus.
- A history of successful teaching at the graduate level strongly preferred.
- US work authorization required.
- Non‑tenure‑track renewable position.
- Position is not benefits eligible.
- Stipend rates per course.
Reports to the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs.
