Part Time Lecturer of Marketing, Questrom School of Business

Location:

Boston, Massachusetts

This role is a non‑tenure track, part‑time lecturer for the Fall 2026 semester teaching the required undergraduate Critical and Analytical Thinking communications course.

Course Focus

Students learn to express critical and analytical thought clearly, concisely, and persuasively in multiple mediums. They learn to solve complex problems using an iterative, structured problem‑solving method, craft and deliver well‑structured arguments on business topics, evaluate evidence quality, and communicate effectively in writing, with visual aids, during presentations, and in the moment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach the full semester, full‑credit course.
  • Develop and deliver course content and materials.
  • Grade papers, presentations, and assessments fairly and consistently.
  • Maintain student contact and availability for office hours.
Qualifications
  • A master’s degree or higher.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Passion for the importance of these skills to professional success.
  • Ability to grade papers and presentations consistently.
  • Experience in business and/or teaching is valued.
  • Facility with generative AI is a plus.
Compensation

Salary range: $9,500 – $11,000 for a full semester, full‑credit course.
