Position: Assistant Clinical Professor / Associate Clinical Professor - Department of Communication Sciences

Assistant Clinical Professor / Associate Clinical Professor – Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders

Position for 52‑week full‑time non‑tenure track faculty in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses for the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Supervise students during the delivery of clinical services, including reviewing documentation, debriefings, and ongoing meetings.
  • Participate in assigned University, College, and Departmental committees and related departmental activities.
  • Engage in professional organization activities and conferences.
Qualifications
  • PhD, EdD, ScD and/or Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology by appointment start date;
    PhD or EdD preferred.
  • ASHA Certification by appointment start date.
  • Massachusetts State License by appointment start date.
  • Minimum of 5‑10 years of clinical experience.
  • Minimum of 3‑5 years of clinical supervision experience.
  • Teaching experience in higher education preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
Research and Clinical Statement

Describe the focus of your research and/or clinical expertise, including how you acquired your expertise, development and implementation of clinical programming, application of evidence‑based practices, and/or research dissemination efforts. Provide results of your clinical work and their impact, and outline the clinical impact your expertise would bring and/or research directions you foresee pursuing.

Teaching Statement

Summarize past instruction and mentorship experiences, pedagogical philosophy, plans/goals for teaching in the Bouve College of Health Sciences (including existing and proposed courses), and strategies for teaching and mentoring a global population of undergraduate and graduate students.

Pay Range

52‑week Salary Ranges:
Assistant Clinical Professor $89,000 – $118,000;
Associate Clinical Professor $108,000 – $154,000.
