ResponsibilitiesThe Department of World Languages and Cultures regularly seeks instructors to teach elementary, intermediate, and advanced courses in Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, or Spanish, as well as culture‑focused classes taught in English. Appointments are on a per‑term basis, and positions are available throughout the year contingent upon enrollment and departmental need.
QualificationsMaster’s degree and previous teaching experience required;
Ph.D. preferred.

Pay RangeThe rate for Customized Language Instruction (CLI) is $1,185 per student for a standard 4‑credit course. A one‑credit course at the CLI rate is prorated to $296.26 per student.
