Part Time Lecturer - School of Nursing, Boston, MA About the Opportunity

The School of Nursing is seeking part-time faculty to teach theoretical courses, including didactic and/or skills laboratory courses in the following areas:
Adult Medical/Surgical, Public Community Health, Maternal Child/Women's Health, Pediatrics, and Psychiatric/Mental Health. Part-time instructor positions are available as determined by the department's curricular and institutional needs.

Prepare lectures, course materials, examinations, and evaluate student performance in the course. Part-time faculty may work under the direction of the lead faculty for the course and will hold office hours as appropriate.

To teach a didactic course: a Master’s Degree in Nursing, a minimum of two years of relevant professional nursing experience within the last five years, competence appropriate for teaching responsibilities, and a current Massachusetts RN license. Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.

Start dates:
May, July, September, and January.

Seeking applicants with significant career accomplishments within the subject area and college teaching experience in a large, diverse, higher education institution.
