About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join a leading insurance client supporting enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will design and develop engaging, high-quality eLearning and blended learning solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

This role will work closely with the Program Manager, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and eLearning specialists to deliver scalable, performance-driven learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive job and task analyses and learning needs assessments to define instructional requirements
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and SMEs to design learning strategies, curricula, and course/module objectives
  • Develop self-paced, skill-based eLearning programs aligned with adult learning principles
  • Design engaging learning experiences using storyboards, simulations, role plays, and interactive content
  • Create and maintain instructional design documentation including learning objectives and assessment strategies
  • Apply ADDIE and SAM methodologies to design and develop training solutions from concept to delivery
  • Partner with eLearning specialists to build advanced digital learning experiences using modern tools
  • Design training across multiple modalities including eLearning, ILT, VILT, and blended learning
  • Develop evaluation strategies and criterion-referenced assessments to measure learning effectiveness
  • Analyze feedback, assessment results, and performance data to continuously improve learning programs
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
  • 5+ years of instructional design experience
  • Proven experience designing learning solutions for complex subject matter
  • Strong experience in eLearning development and curriculum design
  • Ability to work independently and manage full instructional design lifecycle
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong experience translating learning requirements into detailed storyboards

  • Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Wrike (preferred)
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content development and learning enhancement
Preferred Experience
  • Insurance, Banking, Healthcare, or other regulated industries
  • Experience designing compliance-driven or regulatory training programs
  • Exposure to advanced eLearning authoring and multimedia development tools
