UMass Boston is anticipating the need for non-tenure-track Associate Lecturers in English to teach first-year composition courses, starting in fall and occasionally spring semesters. Successful candidates will be responsible for up to four sections (12 credits) while adhering to departmental policies.
The position requires a master’s degree or PhD/PhD candidacy in rhetoric and composition, English or a related field. Demonstrated instructional excellence is essential. The per-course rate will be $6,000.
Applications will be reviewed starting May, with hiring ongoing based on staffing needs.
