Job DescriptionUnder the direction of the Assistant Director within the Office of Graduate Education, this individual will divide their time between program management, student management, financial reporting, and admissions for the Master of Science in Clinical Research. Specific responsibilities include:
- Admissions
:
Coordinate efforts across units to ensure successful program launches at the start of each admissions cycle; collaborate with faculty on enrollment data; prepare and send communications to students; score incoming applications and schedule interviews; organize and facilitate Admissions Committee meetings; send out decision letters; communicate student numbers to leadership; update databases; prepare visa documents; ensure students are successfully onboarded. - Program Management
:
Serve as primary course coordinator, planning and scheduling class sessions, coordinating content with the master’s team, acting as liaison for internal and external constituencies; maintain and manage the program gradebook; update course curriculum; track agendas and educational materials; distribute materials; coordinate online library and scheduling; manage guest lecturer payments and related paperwork; ensure timely upload of course materials to CANVAS. - Student Management
:
Create a sense of community for students; create onboarding packets; manage the student hub; schedule and address student queries; ensure students register for courses; interact with students, triage questions; serve as primary contact for student issues. - Financial Reporting
:
Develop contracts for faculty and process their payments; update finance spreadsheets; forecast finance payments during the budget season. - Reporting and Special Projects
:
Maintain records of grades and statistics; report as appropriate; maintain other records including number of applications, diversity statistics, admissions; develop and coordinate data for all students, alumni and faculty; identify ways to grow the program and collect relevant data.
- Basic Qualifications
: 4 or more years of experience. Higher education may count toward experience. - Additional Qualifications and Skills
:
Must be proactive, detail oriented, and have excellent time management skills.
40 hours per week | Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This is a hybrid position and requires the program coordinator to come into the office twice per week.
