Salary: $61,812 to $98,899 per year, based on experience

Job DescriptionMatch Charter Public School is a free, high‑performing charter public school in Boston that serves up to 1,250 students across PreK‑12. Our mission is to prepare students—particularly multilingual learners and first‑generation college students—for success in college and careers to achieve economic security and mobility. The school is truly diverse: 98% of students are people of color; 23% qualify for special education services;
19% are English Language Learners.
- Teach four high‑school English classes each year.
- Develop daily lessons aligned with Match’s English curriculum in collaboration with department colleagues and the leadership team.
- Maintain high academic and behavioral expectations for students, and provide support to help students meet those expectations.
- Participate in coaching and professional development programming.
- Assist with school programming during non‑instructional time as needed.
- Act as an active, collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community.
- At least two years of full‑time classroom or special education teaching experience, preferably in an urban setting.
- Valid and appropriate license issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, or meet licensing requirements within one year of hire.
- Belief that all students can and will succeed.
- Desire to continually improve teaching practice through feedback implementation.
- Proven record of student success and achievement.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues.
