Part‑Time Lecturer - Public Policy and Urban Affairs

About the Opportunity

The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and its nine tenure units are the home of the Experiential Liberal Arts. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around the globe.

Responsibilities

The School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities seeks applicants to teach courses for one of the degree programs within the School. Courses may include:

  • Urban Planning and Policy
  • Public Administration
  • Public Policy
  • Law and Public Policy
  • Urban Informatics
  • International Affairs
  • Environmental Science and Policy

Teaching might be online and/or in a traditional classroom. Positions are available throughout the year contingent upon enrollment and departmental need.

Qualifications

Terminal degree preferred. Advanced (master's) degree with relevant professional experience may be considered.

Applicants must be able to maintain valid work authorization in the United States throughout the entire appointment without Northeastern University’s sponsorship for a visa.
