UMass Boston seeks an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing–Poetry to begin September 1, 2027. The urban university hosts about 250 undergraduate majors and minors, more than 40 MA students, and a full MFA program enrolling 30 poets in creative writing.
Responsibilities include teaching poetry workshops, courses on poetry as literature, and the pedagogy of creative writing; participate in the regular rotation of tenured MFA faculty into the MFA program directorship.
