Our flagship program in Physician Assistant studies and was Established in 1971, the physician assistant program and has along-standing history of, and expertise in, the education and training of physician assistants. The PA program is in close proximity to Boston's major academic medical centers and was thefirst generalist PA training program in the nation to offer amaster's degree in 1985. This rigorous, highly integratedcurriculum offers our students the opportunity to obtain broadgeneralist training that is designed to prepare them for successfulemployment in all fields of clinical practice.

About

the Opportunity

The Department of Medical Sciences is recruiting an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Physician Assistant Program on our Bostoncampus. The Assistant Clinical Professor is responsible for teaching in the didactic component and oversight of aspects of the clinical component of the Physician Assistant Program, ensuring thehigh educational and medical quality of the curriculum, programorganization and administration, and student education and mentoring. The position also carries expectations for scholarship,including contributions to the advancement of PA education and clinical practice, as well as service to the program, university,and broader professional community.

The Open Rank Clinical Professor will assist in maintaining accreditation standards and participating in any activities necessary to maintain Northeasternat the forefront of PA education. The position is a 52-week, 1.0

FTE, non-tenure track faculty position.

Responsibilities will include teaching graduate courses, engagementin scholarly activities, and participating in departmental,college, and university service.
