Adjunct Faculty –Economics
The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and its nine tenure units are the home of the Experiential Liberal Arts. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around theglobe.
Responsibilities:The Department of Economics at Northeastern University seeks applicants for adjunct faculty in its undergraduate program on the Northeastern New York campus for the Fall 2026 semester. Applicantsqualified to teach microeconomics and macroeconomics at theintroductory level are encouraged to apply. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for the preparation and administration of assignedclasses, including administering exams, holding appropriate officehours, and grading. Classes are taught on-site on the Northeastern New York campus, which is located in Manhattan, New York.
Positions are contingent upon enrollment, funding, and programmaticneed.
Ph.D. in Economics preferred; master's degree required for undergraduateteaching. College-level teaching experience preferred.
