Position Summary
Boston's Bridge to Excellence (BBTE) is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our EEC-licensed Before and After School Programs. Reporting to the Program Administrator, the Site Manager provides leadership, supervises staff, ensures compliance with Massachusetts EEC regulations, oversees curriculum implementation, and creates a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children and families.
Minimum Qualifications- Massachusetts EEC Lead Teacher Certification (School Age or Preschool)
- EEC Director I or Director II Certification (or equivalent administrative credentials)
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in an EEC-licensed program
- Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Associate's degree required;
Bachelor's degree preferred - CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Successful EEC Background Record Check (BRC)
- Manage daily program operations while ensuring compliance with EEC regulations and BBTE policies.
- Supervise, coach, schedule, and evaluate educators and support staff.
- Maintain required staff-to-child ratios and ensure a safe, positive learning environment.
- Oversee implementation of weekly curriculum that includes literacy, mathematics, STEM, arts, recreation, homework support, and social-emotional learning.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching to improve instructional quality.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and community partners.
- Maintain accurate attendance, enrollment, health, medication, and incident records.
- Prepare the site for EEC licensing visits, audits, and quality assurance reviews.
- Conduct safety inspections, emergency drills, and ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Assist with enrollment, family engagement, staff training, inventory, and payroll verification.
- Support professional development, special events, and summer programming as assigned.
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts EEC regulations
- Leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Experience with curriculum planning and child development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and electronic recordkeeping systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Before School: 7:30 AM–9:30 AM (as assigned)
After School: 2:00 PM–6:00 PM (as assigned)
Half Days: 11:00 AM–6:00 PM (as assigned)
Additional hours may be required for meetings, family events, professional development, and summer programming.
