In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory olled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate‑seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre‑registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.

Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN). Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester. Federal Work Study student may apply. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in foundational operations necessary to effectively run the Conservatory’s academic programs.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Assist in facilitating academic event setup/breakdown and other related operations (e.g. equipment and technology setup, marketing efforts, coordination of ensuring event requirements are met)
  • Assist in coordinating facility inventory and maintenance
  • Assist in sending notifications to program participants and guest artists
  • Assist in updating program materials
  • Assist in hosting guest artists, particularly for special events
  • Assist in departmental administrative operations for the Academic Affairs office, as needed
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
  • Stagehand/instrument moving experience.

Expected Hours Per Week: 4-7 hours average;
Can not exceed 10 hours per week.

Expected dates and times of shifts:
Thursday weekly meeting (11am-12pm), Assignments completed on students time.

Hourly Rate: $16.45
