About The Opportunity

The College of Professional Studies invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in Construction Management to teach on-campus and online graduate-level courses as part of the Project Management degree and certificate programs.

Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate courses in Construction Management, including but not limited to:
    • Introduction to Construction Management
    • Alternative Project Delivery Methods
    • Safety, Project Risk, & Quality Management
    • Construction Law
    • Other program-specific courses
  • Deliver high-quality instruction in both in-person and online formats.
  • Support CPS's mission of experiential, inclusive education.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree required.
  • Professional certification (PMP, CCM, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10+ years of industry experience at the construction/project manager level with full project lifecycle responsibility.
  • Teaching experience at the graduate level strongly preferred.
  • Online teaching experience desirable; experience with international students a plus.
  • U.S. work authorization required.
Education
  • Non-tenure track, renewable position.
Compensation
  • Rate: $1,529 per credit.
  • Position is contingent on enrollment, funding, and departmental needs.
  • Non-benefits eligible.
Supervision

Reports to the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs.
