Description
The Field Access and Reimbursement Training Manager Consultant will develop and support delivery of training programs that support Field Access Manager (FAM) teams and related commercial functions. This individual will partner closely with client stakeholders to identify practical, compliant, and field-focused training needs that enhance access and reimbursement capabilities, product knowledge, and field execution.
The ideal candidate brings experience in pharmaceutical field access, reimbursement, patient support services, training facilitation, and adult learning principles, along with the ability to work across multiple therapeutic areas. Initial focus will support Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE).
Key Responsibilities Facilitation & Training Delivery- Develop and support training strategies aligned to client business objectives, field access priorities, and therapeutic area needs.
- Partner with client stakeholders to review and enhance training needs for Field Access Manager teams and related commercial or medical support functions.
- Ensure training programs are practical, field-relevant, compliant, and aligned to access and reimbursement priorities.
- Evaluate current workshops and training materials and recommend improvements based on business needs and learner feedback.
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of National Sales Meetings (NSMs), Plan of Action (POA) Meetings, and District Meetings, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver training content and ensure successful meeting outcomes.
- Facilitate engaging virtual, live, and hybrid training programs.
- Manage training deliverables across onboarding, backfill training, and ongoing field education initiatives.
- Adapt facilitation techniques to diverse learner groups and varying levels of experience.
- Foster an interactive learning environment that promotes participation, collaboration, and application of key concepts.
- Serve as a credible training partner across clinical, medical, access, reimbursement, and field-based topics.
- Build strong partnerships with client stakeholders across Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Learning & Development functions.
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Provide proactive communication regarding project status, priorities, risks, and deliverables.
- Align training initiatives with strategic business objectives and organizational goals.
- Assess training effectiveness through learner feedback, knowledge assessments, stakeholder input, and performance indicators.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Monitor business needs and evolving market dynamics to ensure training remains relevant and effective.
- Recommend enhancements to learning materials, workshops, and delivery methods.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, medical education, training, or related industry environments.
- Experience supporting Field Access Manager, Market Access, Reimbursement, Patient Services, or related field-based functions.
- Strong facilitation experience delivering virtual and instructor-led training programs.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing training curricula and learning solutions.
- General clinical and healthcare knowledge with the ability to support multiple therapeutic areas.
- Strong project management, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to Boston and other meeting locations.
- Experience supporting Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and/or Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE).
- Experience with specialty pharmacy, market access, reimbursement, patient support, or field reimbursement programs.
- Instructional design and curriculum development expertise.
