In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory olled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.
Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN). Remain in "valid" Visa status as applicable. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester. Federal Work Study student may apply. The Piano Technician Assistant student employment job provides a great opportunity to learn how to maintain and tune Berklee College acoustic pianos. This position involves significant hands on training with Berklee's full-time piano technicians to become proficient. As such, our team is looking for long term commitment to continue working with us while dent employees maintain practice room pianos in 150 Mass Ave,160 Mass Ave, 171 Mass Ave, 1120 Boylston, 1108 Boylston, 98 Hemenway, 270 Commonwealth Ave, and 8 The Fenway.
Specialized piano tools are provided on loan by the Piano Technology Department. Employees who continue to work in this capacity throughout their undergraduate studies will gain considerable skills in this music industry craft. Students in the 2nd-3rd semester of study are strongly recommended to apply.
Hourly Rate: $16.97
