Undergraduate Vocal Pedagogy Graduate Assistant

The Undergraduate Vocal Pedagogy Graduate Assistants work with Vocal Pedagogy faculty in the Vocal Pedagogy 1 and Vocal Pedagogy 2 courses, providing support in all areas of classroom management.

Graduate assistants will attend all meetings of the Vocal Pedagogy 1 and 2 classes. Their duties inside and outside of the classroom will include photocopying, collecting homework, monitoring exams, taking attendance, and assisting in facilitating study sessions. This job is on-campus.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Currently enrolled in either the MFA in Musical Theater Vocal Pedagogy or the MM in Vocal Pedagogy at the Conservatory
• Working knowledge of the basic content of this class
• The ability to work with a group as well as with individuals
• The ability to present information in a range of ways so as to meet individual learners where they are
• Ability to be organized and self-motivated and to get necessary tasks completed in a timely manner

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

• Having taken an undergraduate pedagogy class in their own undergraduate degree program is a plus

Hourly Rate: $20.60
