For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Boston, MA for the school year. This 1:1 bedside tutoring position will involve working in a hospital facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
- Provide individualized assistance to students
- Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
- Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
- Most class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time
- B.A/B.S degree from an accredited institution
- MA Teaching Certification
- Comfortable working within a pediatric and adolescent population
- Reliable Transportation
- Must be available between 8AM-4:30PM
