Organization Overview

The mission of the Family Nurturing Center of Massachusetts (FNC) is to build nurturing communities where children are cherished, families are supported, and healthy human development is promoted by all. We achieve this through four areas of focus: parenting education, early childhood family engagement, coalition and community building, and training and capacity building for providers across the region. We are based in Dorchester, with additional sites in Hyde Park, Chelsea, and Allston-Brighton.

Position Overview

The Director leads the design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of evidence-informed parenting education programs, statewide training initiatives, technical assistance, curriculum implementation, and facilitator certification systems. This position ensures services remain family-centered, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and reflective of the diverse strengths and experiences of the families and communities FNC serves.

Working collaboratively across the organization and with community partners, the Director expands FNC's reach and impact by strengthening provider capacity, cultivating strategic partnerships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring the Parenting Education & Training portfolio evolves in response to emerging research, community needs, organizational priorities, and funding opportunities throughout Massachusetts.
