Ro Health is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students with disabilities in school-based settings. In this role, you will deliver individualized and small-group instruction, implement IEPs, track progress, and collaborate with school teams, families, and clinicians. You will adapt curriculum, use evidence-based strategies, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations. Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities in individual and small-group settings.
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams and families.
  • Monitor and document student progress using data-driven methods and adjust instruction as needed.
  • Implement behavior support strategies and maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, nurses, and administrators to coordinate student services.
  • Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and district and state special education regulations.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and support strategies.
  • Use adapted materials, assistive technology, and evidence-based interventions to support diverse learning needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development activities.
  • Partner with Ro Health staff to coordinate placements, receive support, and pursue ongoing professional growth.
