* The Research Program Management team is a proactive, strategic partner guiding research teams through continuous evolution to deliver a transformative research portfolio. As a Project Manager Intern, you will join a high-performing, collaborative team dedicated to driving the success of research projects from early-stage discovery through IND submission. You will play a hands-on role in planning, executing, and monitoring project deliverables, timelines, and resources, while helping to foster a culture of transparency, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.
** How You Will Contribute** **:*
* As a Project Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Support the planning, execution, and delivery of specific research project milestones and objectives.
+ Assistin developing detailed project plans, schedules, and task lists to ensuretimelycompletion of deliverables.
+ Track and report on project progress, risks, and issues, escalating as needed to ensure project success.
+ Coordinate meetings, document action items, and follow up with stakeholders to drive accountability.
+ Facilitate effective communication between project team members and cross-functional partners.
+ Contribute to process improvements that streamline project workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
+ Help celebrate project achievements and foster a positive, inclusive team environment.

* Job Requirements:
*
* + This position will be Hybrid (4 days/weekinoffice) out of the Cambridge, MA location.
+ Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional team environment.
+ Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
+ Adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, SharePoint,Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
** Internship Eligibility**
+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
+ Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026 or later
+ The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (May 26th-August 14th or June 15th
- August 21st)
+ The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
+ Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
+ Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program
