IT Field Technician (1-3 Years of Experience)
Applicants must be flexible to travel Monday through Friday, with all expenses (travel, lodging, meals) covered.
Responsibilities- Install and perform preventive maintenance on patient simulators at medical‑related customer sites such as hospitals and universities.
- Travel within the greater market area, typically within a five‑hour drive; longer trips may require flying.
- Travel to customer sites for regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and support.
- Participate in a 13‑week, 100% paid training program, including classroom instruction and field shadowing.
- Return to base location each evening and be available for weekend travel as needed.
- Drive up to 5 hours; flights used for longer trips; hotel accommodations provided for overnight stays.
- Gas mileage reimbursed after the 30th mile (miles 31+).
- $65 per day food credit while traveling.
- Automatic full travel hours counted from first hour of travel.
- Base‑level IT knowledge (experience preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, IP addressing).
- Proficiency with Windows 11.
- Excellent electronics aptitude is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel Monday through Friday.
- Recent graduates may be considered; commitment to training period is required.
- Will willing to take an IKM assessment (similar to CompTIA A+) as part of qualification.
Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, MA. Pay range: $25.00–$25.00 per hour. Temporary role benefits may include:
