Position Overview
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience through great communication, solid problem‑solving ability, and a positive attitude. This fully remote role supports customers in the greater Northeast US states and requires that the candidate be located within one hour of central Boston, MA.
Responsibilities- Proactively manage customer accounts, building and fostering positive and professional relationships with internal and external customers.
- Propose process improvements that enhance internal and external customer processes.
- Manage a diverse technical product portfolio.
- Full‑time remote; must be located within one hour of Boston, MA.
- Ability to travel daily throughout the Northeast, with 30% overnight travel.
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment and tools up to 50 lbs.
- Associate’s degree with a minimum of one year of experience in a technical customer‑facing role (trade school or equivalent industry experience considered).
- Strong communication skills utilized in a professional manner.
- Advanced troubleshooting, problem‑solving and repair skills with strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biology, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience with a customer‑facing role.
- Previous experience managing a diverse product portfolio.
The hourly range for this role is $40.50–$41.75/hr this range may be modified in the future. The position is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
