Med Tech Field Service Engineer This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with healthcare professionals and lead technical initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for leading a team that installs, updates, and performs services on medical devices—including infusion pumps and batteries—across U.S. hospitals, while delivering exceptional customer service.
What you will be doing in the role:
- Provide ongoing communication and customer support to on‑site hospital staff.
- Organize, test, and update medical devices; install and configure hardware, software, and network products.
- Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
- Document and submit daily data while maintaining high standards of product support quality documentation.
- Full‑time commitment requires travel locally, regionally, and nationally.
- Assignment‑based schedule with 40‑hour commitment per week and overtime as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree, or equivalent military training programs, or equivalent biomedical or technical field service experience (3–5 years field experience).
- Strong computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot project setup, technical issues, and closeouts remotely within multiple software programs.
- Professional business acumen and effective communication skills required.
- Self‑motivated individual who can work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills to ensure on‑time completion of project assignments.
- Active and unrestricted driver’s license and personal vehicle for local work‑related assignments.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including providing proof of vaccination status.
- Position may require up to‑date immunizations.
Travel Requirement:
- Full‑time commitment with travel flexibility.
- Assignment‑based schedule with 40+ hour commitment per week. Travel nationally to support customer needs.
- Driving is considered a business requirement. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and will be subject to a review of their driving record prior to hire.
- Personal vehicle required for job‑related assignments up to 3 hours from home.
- Located within 1 hour of a major airport.
- Travel and time traveling is paid.
Preferred Attributes:
- Background in biomedical, networking, military, or field‑based technician roles.
- Experience working in a technical role within a healthcare environment.
- Strong computer skills and comfort with troubleshooting with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and One Note.

Vaccine/Immunization/Hospital Credentialing Requirement: You will need to complete the healthcare facility credentialing process, which includes meeting the immunization requirements specified by the facility. Required vaccinations typically include Measles, Mumps & Rubella;
Varicella;
Negative Tuberculosis Test;
Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap);
Hepatitis B;

The potential base pay range for this role is $27.00–$32.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job‑related qualifications, location, and schedule. Incentive plans, bonuses, and other forms of compensation may also be offered.
