Vice President, Engineering - Solar I Boston I $,000 DOE The Role
As Vice President, Engineering you will be the lead Engineering authority for the business, responsible for a multidisciplined engineering team including electrical, design, civil and project engineering. You will oversee the quality and output of the engineering team, in doing so driving project process and working with other areas of the business, providing technical direction.
In office expectations are 3 days per week in the central Boston office.
Responsibilities- Executive and senior engineering leadership experience with a technical engineering background of 12+ years
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
- Willingness and ability to roll your sleeves up and get involved in technical work and designs if and when needed
- 5+ years team management experience
- Proven leader with charisma and gravitas, capable of driving and growing a high performing team
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as CAD, energy simulation software, stormwater modeling, and power studies
- Deep technical expertise in power generation, PV and BESS technologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
