Required Skills & Experience- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend data systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.)
- Proven ability to design and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows
- Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices
- Background in sustainability, climate data, or IoT platforms
- Familiarity with streaming data platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Step Functions)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to process sustainability and energy data
- Integrate new data sources, including APIs, IoT devices, and streaming platforms
- Optimize workflows for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability
- Implement data quality monitoring and alerting systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support analytics and product needs
