They are seeking a Staff Research Scientist, specializing in Hardware to join their growing team in Boston.

Compensation$175k to $225k+ base DOE, 15 to 20 percent bonus, plus RSUs
ResponsibilitiesThe role focuses on hardware design and collaboration across research and engineering to turn ideas into working prototypes within AI hardware ecosystems. Specific responsibilities are expected to align with the candidate’s experience and project needs.
Qualifications- PhD in Computer Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working on AI or compute heavy systems where hardware constraints matter
- Strong understanding of computer architecture concepts such as memory, data movement, and performance tradeoffs
- Hands on experience with machine learning models and an interest in how they map to real hardware
- Comfort working across research and engineering teams to turn ideas into working prototypes
- Experience with AI accelerators, SoCs, or heterogeneous compute platforms
- Background in model optimization, quantization, or efficient inference
- Exposure to DSP, sensors, or signal driven systems
- Some familiarity with RTL or silicon development, even if not a day to day focus
