HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced Linux Electrical Engineer to support the development, integration, and maintenance of complex hardware interfaces and software for Real-time Hardware-in-the-Loop simulators. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and testing electrical systems, ensuring system safety and reliability through rigorous hardware and software integration. This role requires a balance of technical expertise in circuit analysis and a deep understanding of embedded systems.
EssentialJob Functions/Responsibilities
- Design hardware interfaces and develop software for Real-time Hardware-in-the-Loop simulators.
- Select and procure electrical components under compressed timelines from requirement to delivery.
- Create and interpret detailed electrical specifications, schematics, and diagrams.
- Develop and implement Lab View projects for prototype sensors and optical equipment.
- Conduct circuit design and software development for small-scale portable devices.
- Perform circuit review, approval, and microprocessor software development using Python and C++.
- Collaborate with external board houses (PCB fabricators) and contract manufacturers.
- 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering within industrial, defense, or R&D sectors.
- Proven experience developing on Linux-based Real-time Operating Systems.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Java, and Python for embedded systems.
- Strong background in Analog and Digital Circuit analysis and design.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and multimeters.
- Basic soldering skills for surface-mount packages (0603, 0402, TSSOP, SOIC).
- Experience with VxWorks or other non-Linux Real-time OS debugging.
- Familiarity with Verilog, VHDL, or MATLAB.
- Experience in automated testing and in-situ detection systems.
- Knowledge of IoT-enabled control schemes and smart systems.

- This position will report primarily to the Director of Hardware and Electrical Engineering.
