Sr. Supplier Engineer

Our On-Demand Talent Solutions group is excited to share a fantastic career opportunity for Senior Staff Supplier Engineers on behalf of our valued client, a global medical device company. We are seeking passionate, skilled professionals interested in making an impact in a dynamic organization.

The Senior Staff Supplier Project Engineer will follow cross-functional initiatives to implement new capital tooling and equipment at suppliers, support new product introductions, drive supplier improvement projects, and resolve business-critical technical and quality issues across the supply base.

• Lead and manage supplier capital tool qualifications from kick-off through production implementation, overseeing a high-value project portfolio with significant financial investment, complexity, and strategic importance.
• Manage projects to articulate risk, project status, and decisions maintaining clear and consistent documentation.
• Generate or review supplier validation and qualification protocols, coordinating execution and final reporting.
• Oversee teams and mentor early career engineers responsible for the procurement and installation of manufacturing equipment at global suppliers.
• Influence adoption of industry best practices to ensure successful equipment qualification and deployment.

• 8+ years of experience directly working with manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of MS Project, Smart Sheet or Excel.
• Six Sigma Process Improvement Experience/Certification.
• Project management experience leading use in medical devices.
