We are seeking a Dev Sec Ops Engineer to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, integrating, maintaining, and testing Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) systems along with other electronic security system infrastructure. This position is full time at Hanscom Air Force Base in Boston, MA. Candidates must be flexible with work schedules to accommodate system outages, upgrades, etc., dress and present themselves professionally, and be able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
Punctuality, attendance, a willingness to learn, and an ability to work well as part of a contractor / client team are essential to success in this role.
- Configure PSIM interfaces to new systems coming online using a combination of C#, Python, and SQL / T-SQL scripting
- Experience with Everbridge Control Center PSIM is a plus
- Resolve system issues for physical security infrastructure.
- Lead testing of PSIM updates with Air Force/Force Protection Division/Test Team
- Communicate with customers, subcontractors, manufacturers, vendors, and technical specialists.
- Train system users and other system support personnel.
- Analyze and modify preventive maintenance checklists for system changes.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform preventive maintenance actions including system back-ups, error log reviews, database size, and integrity checks.
- Organize and prepare detailed documentation of system performance, including service request records and analysis.
- Perform desktop hardware and operating system set-up, imaging, software loads, and antivirus updates.
- Perform all duties with minimal direct supervision.
Ability to travel up to 10%
Education- 2+ Years of Experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Cybersecurity preferred
- 6+ Years of Experience with an Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Cybersecurity preferred
- 8+ Years of Experience with a High School Diploma / GED
