Technical Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end deployment and onboarding of SYSO hardware and software systems at client sites, ensuring technical accuracy, timely execution, and full compliance with market rules and client objectives
• Help define and execute asset operating strategies in coordination with senior team members to align with market rules and client operational goals
• Collaborate with internal teams (Energy Markets, Engineering, Sales, and the Network Operations Center) to identify project-specific requirements for new market entry and track deliverables to ensure timely execution of technical and regulatory milestones
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO/RTO market processes, including capacity, energy, and ancillary service programs
• Contribute to the creation and improvement of internal documentation, onboarding templates, and client-facing materials

• Bachelor’s degree in energy systems, engineering, environmental science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3-6 years of experience in a technical client-facing role within the energy or grid services industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Familiarity with ISO/RTO markets (e.g., PJM, ISO-NE, CAISO), telemetry standards, and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience in the electrical power industry, including transmission and distribution, centralized and distributed energy resources, energy management and related technologies
• Master’s degree in business or technical field; industry certifications
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, or equivalent CRM/project tools
• Experience working in a startup or rapid-growth environment
