The Application Engineer supports the design, planning, and execution of water and infrastructure projects by developing accurate digital drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. This role partners closely with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to deliver high‑quality project designs that support manufacturing, installation, and client requirements.
You’ll contribute across the full project lifecycle — from drafting and design support to product development, technical submittals, and process improvements — while also assisting with technical content and data for marketing and sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, revise, and optimize engineering drawings and digital plans using drafting software.
- Prepare project submittals, detail drawings, and technical documentation.
- Perform standard engineering calculations and design support tasks.
- Collaborate with engineers, field teams, contractors, and commercial partners to ensure accurate execution.
- Support product development, estimates, and research initiatives.
- Participate in site visits and coordinate with contractors as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in engineering processes, quality, scheduling, and logistics.
- Assist with technical content development and data collection for marketing efforts.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences when applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline or Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or similar field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data.
- Working knowledge of drafting/design software (CAD preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Detail‑oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
This role works closely with engineering leadership and commercial teams to ensure project execution aligns with technical standards, operational goals, and client expectations.
