We are looking for a Structural Designer with over 3 years of experience in existing building design and field work. This role includes field investigations, structural analysis and design, client interactions, and collaboration with other design and construction professionals. The successful candidate will work on a variety of challenging projects involving steel, concrete, timber and masonry, including historical restoration and renovation of existing buildings.

• Complete feasibility studies by studying project plans, conducting site investigations, identifying performance standards, and preparing construction documents and submittals.
• Verify and support construction by performing compliance inspections and tests, resolving construction problems related to structural design, and coordinating with construction and production contractors.
• Document structural design and maintenance by recording design features, maintenance requirements, safety warnings, and details.
• Develop comprehensive plans, details, and specifications.
• Provide construction administration, including field/site visits and problem‑solving during construction.
• Work in conjunction with senior staff to assist with unique structural‑related issues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

• Minimum BS in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience in the design and renovation of existing structures (preferred).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit and computer‑aided analysis/design of structures.

Strong oral and written communication skills required.
