Our automation team designs and deploys some of the most advanced robotic machine-tending installations in industry, enabling autonomous process control for continuous operations.
We are looking for a SENIOR ROBOTIC SOLUTIONS ENGINEER (Full-time, On-site, Boston, MA) to join our applications engineering team and set tomorrow's standard for support and service while innovating on projects for the future of smart manufacturing.
YOU WILL- Create industry-leading 6-axis robot automated manufacturing work cells using cutting-edge technologies.
- Inspire and galvanize customers to meet and exceed their automation goals.
- Convey complex technical content clearly and concisely to internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Foster relationships with suppliers to build a strong suite of devices, components, and sensors for challenging automation applications.
- Consolidate concepts and learnings from each proposal into repeatable, successful solution-design processes.
- Collaborate with Senior Automation, Robotics Interface Engineers, and Software Engineers to build the most effective and creative solutions.
- Approve and build upon junior Solution Engineer work.
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Manufacturing Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5-7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, Systems Engineering, Controls Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
- Experience discovering and managing system, component, and sensor suppliers.
- Ability to research unknown technologies to build ground-up novel solutions.
- Ability to innovate integration solutions surrounding challenging technical and commercial requirements.
- Willingness to travel and conduct automation workshops with customers.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills on technical challenges with customers.
- Innovative and forward-thinking, passionate about exploring new ideas and pushing technology boundaries.
