Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $ Annually
French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Project Engineer for our Highway/Traffic department in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities- Prepare and oversee roadway and highway design plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Perform geometric design, grading, drainage coordination, and maintenance of traffic plans
- Coordinate with internal disciplines including civil/site, traffic, structural, environmental, and utility teams
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Serve as a technical resource for junior engineers and designers
- Attend client meetings and coordinate with public agencies including state agencies, counties, and municipalities
- Ensure compliance with state and federal design standards and procedures
- Support proposal preparation and business development efforts as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 4-8 years of progressive highway/roadway design experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts
- Experience working on county and/or municipal projects, including those that are state or federally funded
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO and MassDOT roadway design standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
